Osmose, Inc. / SUSTAIN(R) 20T

Osmose, Inc. / SUSTAIN(R) 20T

Greenguard description:

The environmentally friendly SUSTAIN(R) 20T wood preservative is a revolutionary, fully micronized, copper plus tebuconazole formulation that provides significant advantages over traditional preservatives such as MCQ (micronized copper quat), and ACQ (alkaline copper quat), and Copper Azole. SUSTAIN(R) preserved wood is protected against attack from fungal decay and termites, including Formosan termites, by the MCA(TM) wood preservative system. SUSTAIN(R) 20T is manufactured with minimal carbon footprint and provides retailers and consumers of SUSTAIN(R) preserved wood, the latest advancements in wood preservative technology.

Product Features
• NatureWood products are durable and designed for outdoor construction
• Copper-based preservative with a co-biocide
• The most effective and widely used alternative to traditional pressure treated wood
• Preservative system meets American Wood Preservers’ Association standards
• NatureWood products are Building Code Compliant and have been issued National Evaluation Report #628 by National Evaluation Services, Inc.

Finishing- Any exposed wood, pressure treated or not, should be protected from the weather. NatureWood products which do not contain a
factory applied water repellent (check the label) should have a clear water repellent applied immediately. A stain with water repellent can be
applied as soon as the wood is surface dry. NatureWood products which have a factory applied water repellent can have an oil based stain applied
in 30 to 60 days and water based stains can be applied after 6 months. In all instances follow the manufacturer's directions when applying water
repellents or stains which may contain water repellent.

NatureWood products are treated with an EPA registered preservative that is forced
into the wood under pressure to protect it from termites and fungal decay.

Deck board spacing- During construction, should the wood
become wet, butt deck boards together. As drying occurs, some shrinkage
can be expected. If the wood is dry, allowing for shrinkage is not necessary.

Other info:

• Warning- Certain metal products (including fasteners, hardware, and flashing) may
corrode when in direct contact with NatureWood products. To prevent premature
corrosion and failure it is important to follow the recommendations of the manufacturers
for all metal products.
• Do not burn preserved wood (see Disposal section).
• Wear a dust mask and goggles when cutting or sanding wood.
• Wear gloves when working with wood.
• Some preservative may migrate from the treated wood into soil/water or may dislodge
from the treated wood surface upon contact with skin. Wash exposed skin
areas thoroughly.
• All sawdust and construction debris should be cleaned up and disposed of
after construction.
• Wash work clothes separately from other household clothing before reuse.
• Preserved wood should not be used where it may come into direct or indirect contact
with drinking water, except for uses involving incidental contact such as fresh water
docks and bridges.
• Do not use preserved wood under circumstances where the preservative may become
a component of food, animal feed, or beehives.
• Do not use preserved wood as mulch.
• Only preserved wood that is visibly clean and free of surface residue should be used.
• Do not use preserved wood in direct contact with aluminum.
• If the wood is to be used in an interior application and becomes wet during
construction, it should be allowed to dry before being covered or enclosed.
If you desire to apply a paint, stain, clear water repellent, or other finish to your
preservative treated wood, we recommend following the manufacturer’s instructions
and label of the finishing product. Before you start, we recommend you apply the
finishing product to a small exposed test area before finishing the entire project to
insure it provides the intended result before proceeding.

ABET LAMINATI / ABET High Pressure Laminate

ABET LAMINATI / ABET High Pressure Laminate

Metals are never recommended for horizontal surfaces where wear and traffic are an issue. In general, darker laminates show scratches more readily than lighter colors. Consider this when choosing a surface that experiences traffic.

Typical horizontal applications include work surfaces on counters, table tops, residential and commercial furniture, case goods, store fixtures, and work stations. Vertical applications include wall panels, cabinet walls, doors, toilet partitions, elevator cab interiors, front panels of workstations in hospitals, restaurants, retail stores, and airports. This grade also has the capability of
postforming to achieve radius edges for counters, desktops, and store fixtures.

Composition: ABET LAMINATI high pressure decorative laminate is manufactured by pressing melamine impregnated print and solid color surface sheets over a phenolic impregnated kraft paper core at pressures over 1000 psi and temperatures of approximately 300 degrees F (149 degrees C). The backs are sanded to facilitate bonding to a substrate.

Limitations: ABET LAMINATI high pressure decorative laminate is not recommended for exterior applications or for bonding to gypsum wallboard, plaster, concrete or plywood. This product is not a structural material and is to be used bonded to a suitable substrate. Do not use in areas with extreme humidity conditions or temperatures higher than 275 degrees F (135 degrees C) for extended periods of time. This product is not to be exposed to continuous, direct sunlight. Metalli laminates do not meet regular wear resistance requirements and should not be used in high wear areas.

High-pressure decorative laminates and substrates should be allowed to acclimate for at least 48 hours at
the same ambient conditions. Optimum conditions are approximately 23 degrees C (73 degrees F) and a
relative humidity of 45% to 55%.

Transport
· During handling operation, we recommend moving the panels with extreme care because sharp edges could scratch
the decoratives.

Finishes:
Sei A smooth textured finish with a moderate reflective value
Soft A smooth low sheen finish
Lucida A high gloss finish
Millerighe A horizontal line embossed finish
Millerighe-2 A horizontal line embossed finish
Fiber A fiber inclusion embossed finish
Mandarin A pebbled textured finish with moderate reflective value
Nutshell A woodgrain tick embossed pattern
Magma An embossed stone pattern
Muro An embossed pattern
Multirighe An embossed line pattern
Satinata A brushed metal pattern
Onda An embossed grooveMAINTENANCE AND CARE

Sheet Size: 51" (130 mm) x 120" (305 mm)
Thickness: 0.035" (0.9 mm)

ABET high pressure laminates have a hard, durable melamine surface and will maintain their attractive appearance longer than most other decorative surfacing materials and requires minimal maintenance. The decorative surface may be cleaned with warm water and a mild soap or detergent using a damp cloth or sponge. Difficult stains such as coffee or tea can be removed using a mild household cleaner/detergent and a soft bristle brush, repeating as necessary.
Do not use abrasive pads, scouring powders or cleansers as they may permanently dull or scratch the laminate surface making it susceptible to staining. Harsh chemicals such as oven cleaner, toilet cleaner, drain cleaner, and acids and alkalis chemicals will etch and discolor the decorative surfaced curve pattern.

Cost varies with quantity, pattern, finish and other factors.

Acousti‑Mat

Acousti‑Mat

Product Description:

A breakthrough in sound control technology, Acousti‑Mat® II is the cost-effective solution to "noise" complaints, even with ceramic and wood floors. Its core of fused entangle filaments, attached to a non-woven fabric, creates a void area between the subfloor and a high-strength Maxxon® underlayment.

The low 1/4" profile of Acousti-Mat II allows a thinner floating floor composite and is a cost-effective choice for both new floors and retrofit where floor height is a concern. It increases IIC levels up to 10 points over wood frame, and up to 20 points over concrete. It also increases the STC rating 6-15 points over a bare wood frame system.

Trend Q Floor Stone Source

Trend Q

Description

Trend Q is a series of terrazzo-like engineered stone tiles and slabs that include numerous colors with recycled glass content. The material is composed of approximately 93% "grit" or chips and 7% pigmented polyester resin. The grit, which is comprised of either quartz, granite, glass, or mosaic, is crushed into nine different granule sizes. These granules are mixed with the pigmented polyester resin and spread on a large sheet mold where the slab takes its shape. After finishing the surface to a high polish, the slab is fitted with a mesh backing and is either left intact or cut into tiles.

Colors + Finishes

There are 49 colors in the Trend Q standard color line. Due to the nature of the product, finishes vary from color to color but typically range from a high-polish to a semi-polished surface.

Sizes

Standard nominal (and actual) sizes are: 12"x12" (11.75"x11.75"), 24"x24" (23.5"x23.5"), and 16"x47" (15.75"x47.25").

Recycled Content

In response to the evolving global perspective towards environmentally friendly construction, many new and re-mastered colors in Trend Q contain measured amounts of either post-consumer or post-industrial recycled materials.

Fifteen colors contain various percentages of post-consumer recycled content, and twenty contain 70% post-industrial recycled material. Fourteen colors are made by more traditional means. The percentage of recycled content for each color is noted in the product captions.

Applications

Trend Q is highly durable, easy to maintain, stain resistant and slip resistant (based on ASTM C1028 test results). Tiles are suitable for interior and exterior walls and floors, including heavy-traffic commercial flooring applications.

Installation + Maintenance

Tiles can be installed using standard installation methods for thinset adhesives. Use high quality adhesive and grout from manufacturers such as Laticrete and Mapei, following manufacturers' recommendations, depending on conditions. Clean with a neutral detergent when needed.

Celador Quartz Stone Source

Celador Quartz

Description

Celador is a quartz based agglomerate, cast into tiles and slabs. Celador is highly durable and is suitable for many residential and commercial interior applications.

Sizes

Standard nominal tiles sizes are 12"x12", 12"x24", 16"x16" and 24"x24". Slabs are 55"x118" (3/4" or 1 1/4"). Other sizes are available, including cut-to-size. Our stock inventory includes 24"x24" tiles and 55"x118" (1-1/4") slabs.

Colors + Finishes

There are four colors in the Celador Series. All colors come standard in a polished finish.

The Celador color line includes solid colors with quartz particles. Custom Colors require a minimum of approximately 6,500 square feet of tile or 3,000 square feet of slabs. For additional information about color availability and minimum quantity requirements, please contact your local Stone Source representative.

Applications

Celador is extremely hard and dense and has practically no porosity. It will not react to acid, making Celador an excellent material for residential and commercial floors, counters, interior and exterior cladding and other uses. As a floor tile, it will withstand wear, even on heavy traffic commercial floors, resist staining and requires low maintenance. Celador is suitable for kitchen counters and other working surfaces due to its hardness, low porosity, resistance to stains and acids, lack of hairline cracks and will not support bacteria growth.

Installation

For floor tiles up to 24"x24", the substrate must be flat, stable, solid, free of cracks, smooth, dry and clean. Use Laticrete 333 Super Flexible Additive with Laticrete 317 Floor 'N Wall Thin Set Mortar, or approved equal. Apply adhesive to the full back of each tile. Tap tiles with a rubber mallet to ensure even laying. Recommended grout width, up to 16"x16" is 1/16" and 1/8" grout width for larger tiles, using Laticrete 1600 Series sanded grout. For other applications, contact your Stone Source representative or Laticrete for recommended materials and installation methods.

Maintenance

Remove dirt and liquids as soon as possible. Clean and buff regularly with a neutral detergent. For polished finish, clean and buff regularly with a neutral detergent. Honed finish Celador requires additional maintenance than the polished finish. For honed finish tiles, cleaners such as KlenzAll by Stone Tech Professional may be effective, depending on the application. Using a floor machine, scrub with a 3M No. 3500 natural tan pad. Remove substance with a wet vac to eliminate dirt effectively.

Amorim Cork

Amorim Cork

Cork oak forests cover approximately 2.5 million hectares across the Mediterranean region and most of them are located in seven countries: Portugal, Algeria, Spain, Morocco, France, Italy and Tunisia.

Amorim’s Cork flooring represents a unique balance between the creation of wealth and the protection of the environment. The Cork industry is remarkably sustainable; it takes a natural raw material extracted cyclically from Cork trees without ever harming them, and turns it into high value-added products while promoting the economic and social sustainability of areas at risk of desertification. Corklife Studiostyle Supertop is one of the most well balanced solutions between quality and price that you can find. Comfortable, sound insulator, durable and affordable with a very attractive visuals selection, this product line offers you a true warm feeling, straight from nature.

Cork properties

The bark of the cork oak tree has a unique honeycomb structure composed of tiny cells. Each cell has the form of a 14-sided polyhedron and the inner cell space is entirely filled with an air-like gaseous mixture. The properties of cork derive naturally from the structure and chemical composition of its extremely strong, flexible cell membranes, which are waterproof and airtight.
Because about 89% of the tissue of the bark consists of gaseous matter, the density of cork is extremely low, in the order of 0.12 to 0.20, a fact that bears witness to the huge disproportion between the volume and the weight of the material.

Lightness:
Cork is light and floats on water. For many thousands of years, this has been its most evident and most celebrated characteristic. Since ancient times, cork has been used in fishing equipment.

Elasticity and Resiliency:
The cell membranes of cork are highly flexible, making it both compressible and elastic. This means it returns to its original shape after being subjected to pressure. This and other characteristics explain why cork has become an indispensable material for making bottle stoppers.
These physical qualities mean that cork can be fitted perfectly against the walls of the bottleneck. When cork is subjected to strong pressure, the gas in the cells is compressed and considerably reduced in volume. When the pressure is released, the cork immediately recovers its original shape and volume, showing no trace of having been subjected to any appreciable deformation.

Impermeability:
The presence of suberin (a complex mixture of fatty acids and heavy organic alcohol) renders cork impermeable to both liquids and gases. As a result, it does not rot, making it one of the best seals available.

Insulation and fire retardant qualities:
The value of cork is further enhanced by its low conductivity of heat, sound and vibration. This is because the gaseous elements it contains are sealed in tiny, impermeable compartments, insulated from each other by a moisture-resistant material. This endows cork with one of the best insulating capacities, both thermal and acoustic, of any natural substance.
Cork is also a natural fire retardant: it neither spreads flames nor releases toxic gases during combustion.

Resistance to wear:
Cork is remarkably resistant to wear and has a high friction coefficient. Thanks to its honeycomb structure, it is less affected by impact or friction than other hard surfaces.

Hypoallergenic properties:
Because cork does not absorb dust, it helps protect against allergies and does not pose a risk to asthma sufferers. It also has an unchangeable constitution that guarantees efficiency.

Maintenance:
Mild detergent and a vacuum cleaner. For daily/weekly maintenance, you can also use a broom handle with a cloth on the end. The removable cloth has a substance with anti-static characteristics, which will clean all the dust and prevent its settling on the floor.

Amazon Select Recycled Latex Paint

Amazon Select Recycled Latex Paint

Good quality, reusable paints are hand sorted by color for processing into recycled content paint.

Reusable paints of the same color are pumped into a tank and mixed with a high-speed mixer.

The paint is tested for viscosity, color, sheen, coverage, pH and other characteristics. The paint is then adjusted with additives as necessary to meet our strict specifications. Finally, the paint is filtered and packaged for sale.

paint is periodically tested by the paint industry's premier independent organization, the Master Painters Institute. Amazon Select is certified by Green Seal as a quality, recycled content, environmentally preferable product.

Amazon Select refund the purchase price of any paints returned to us within one year of shipment, no questions asked.

Non-reusable paints are manufactured into other products, including Processed Latex Pigment (PLP). PLP is an alternative raw material used in the manufacture of cement, and is made using Amazon’s patented processes.
